The Story

Benjamin Starling is a new musical about imagination, growing up, and finding a place in the world.  Delightful and touching for both adults and children, this show is truly an experience for the whole family.

The story revolves around Jamie, an eleven-year-old girl, and her younger brother Tommy.  The two of them spend weekdays with their mother, Linda;  weekends with their father, David.

On the weekends, David and the children make up stories about the boy who is almost, but never quite, a bird:  Benjamin Starling.  Benjamin Starling's stories are played out onstage as the family creates a host of adventures for him.

As Benjamin learns life lessons in trying to exist as both a bird and a boy, Jamie begins to face complex truths about her family and herself.  To learn more, contact dannypittstoller@gmail.com.
